This is they day your rose-tinted glasses are totally welcome… If you are ready to level up your watercolour game, I invite you to a botanical bonanza for not-so-green painters at Ellis House this March. You’ve dipped your brushes, so now lets dive in to the world of realistic watercolour blooms. We’ll be working step-by-step through creating a beautiful, realistic watercolour rose, all ready for you to take home and frame. As we go we’ll practice and refine foundational watercolour techniques so you can go on to flaunt your fantastic floral finesse in your next watercolour masterpiece. No stress or pressure, we’ll make your day rosy with a relaxed vibe, a painting tribe and a chance to ask me your questions about this challenging medium. Secure you spot now for this flowery fiesta, as places are limited. Who: The artist who know their watercolour tubes from their pans, but still wants a bit of guidance when it comes to a realistic, botanical subject. What to bring: Lunch and a water bottle, your own watercolour brushes if you have them in size 10, 6 and 2 (I will have assorted brushes to borrow if you need them). Everything else provided! Want to frame your masterpiece? Frames make everything look special! Bring along a frame that has a mat to fit an A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) or 8" x 10" picture or you can purchase one from me on the day - just let me know in advance if at all possible so I know how many to bring.
