Polla Posavec is an award-winning, professional visual artist residing in Chittering, Western Australia.
A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Western Australia, she currently specialises in painting watercolours. Her favourite subjects are the intimate landscapes of life close up, including portraiture still life, flora and fauna - particularly that of her region.
Polla has been a member of the Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation Board for a decade and became chairperson in 2024. She also established and ran the very first Northern Valleys Open Studios in 2024, an arts trail showcasing the work of artists local to her region. Polla is also a committe member for the Watercolour Society of WA. As a volunteer and participant with multiple organisations that encourage community arts development, she is is passionate about stimulating and integrating the arts into ordinary neighbourhoods, as it is an underrated but vital part of the fabric of functional communities.
Also an experienced graphic designer and personal trainer, she champions creative, simple, healthy, sustainable living and likes to share her experiences crafting this lifestyle in rural Western Australia.
